Tom Coyne is the author of A Course Called Ireland, Paper Tiger: An Obsessed Golfer’s Quest to Play with the Pros, and the novel A Gentleman’s Game, which was adapted into a film starring Gary Sinise. In 2011, he completed 26.1 To Go.
Coyne lives in Philadelphia and teaches creative writing at St. Joseph’s University.
Tom Coyne visited the Institute for Sport, Spirituality and Character Development at Neumann University to share some stories of his attempt at becoming a professional golfer, and how moments in sport can draw people closer together.
