The Neumann University Institute for Sport, Spirituality and Character Development (ISSCD) invites applications for a full time Coordinator of New Media, Communications and Events. The basic functions of this position are maintaining the ISSCD’s website and new media profiles; writing and producing content for thought leadership and marketing purposes; ISSCD event planning and management; and providing assistance in the day-to-day marketing, management and dissemination of information with regard to the ISSCD in a manner that is concert with the ISSCD’s mission and supports the marketing and enrollment goals of the University.

Responsibilities include coordinating the planning, development and production of content for all ISSCD communications needs and coordinating all ISSCD sponsored events. This candidate must have knowledge and experience in website development and management; new media profiles such as WordPress, YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and SnapChat; content creation; event planning and production; graphic design; and athletics. Qualifications also include: Master’s degree (preferred); 2-4 years professional experience with media communication including new media; excellent communication skills; and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Applications.  The successful candidate will have an appreciation for the inherent power of good in sport, an awareness of the spiritual and ethical dimensions of sport and an appreciation for and congruence with the Catholic Franciscan mission of the University.  Qualified candidates are invited to forward a resume and cover letter by March 15, 2017, along with two references to:
